Harley lived in the home of a police officer...but that didn't made her behave. In fact, she thoroughly enjoyed destroying a kitchen chair by eating the legs! She was also known to jump on the pool table to eat tax forms and other pesky paperwork. Harley loved MacKenzie, her owners' granddaughter, and even helped her dig for fishing worms when the ground was just right. She would even play "dress-up" if that's what MacKenzie has chosen as the activity for the day. Harley had a CERF exam at age 1 and passed with flying colors.
Harley died very unexpectedly of stomach cancer 2 days before Thanksgiving 2005. The photo above shows her 2 weeks before her death. Her owners now are enjoying two new Belgians, a Tervuren and a Groenendael.
