Henry's Story

Henry was our very first foster dog.

Leia was our first Malinois foster.  She came to us in late July 2003 at about the age of 7, and found her forever home in September 2003.  Her new canine brother is a dog named Jake (on left in photo below).   Leia is a very sweet girl and loves children.

Leia died of a splenic tumor in the spring of 2007.

She was a fantastic friend to the Morrow family, and she is sadly missed by all of them, including Jake.

Our most recent foster dog was Calvin.  He is a Belgian Malinois and was removed from extremely neglectful living conditions in December 2003.  As you can see, he was in very poor condition when he arrived.  Two months later he blossomed into a fun-loving, clownish, young male Malinois.

ANOTHER HAPPY ENDING!

Calvin was adopted 1 November 2004 and lives in Michigan with his new mom.

Calvin is now called Kane and is enjoying his new dog family:  a female Dutch Shepherd and a male Border Collie.
